Julie was born February 16, 1959 the daughter of Ruby and Sylvester Arensdorf. She was united in marriage to Thomas Bertling. Julie was a dishwasher at the former Rendezvous Super Club in Maquoketa IA. She was a dedicated mother and wife.

Grand daugther Lillyan Ann Marie Bertling, one brother Larry Arensdorf, a sister Tina (Chuck) and her Mother Ruby Arensdorf.
