Julie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose love and warmth touched everyone she met. She married her beloved husband, Chriss Gwin, on July 3, 1976, and together they built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, and devotion.
She is survived by her children, Keri Hahn (Nick Cunningham), Michael (Ashley) Gwin, Mathew Gwin (Katie Rurka), and Katie (Mike) Niksich; her siblings, Randy (Geri) Friedline, Janice Wold, and Ron Friedline, Ragene Gwin, Mark (Lora) Gwin, Scott Gwin; and many cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia Friedline; her brother, Rick (Julie) Friedline; sister-in-law, Heather Friedline; brothers-in-law, Denny Gwin and Bruce Wold; and her beloved parents-in-law, Guy and Helen Lebeau.
Julie was a talented cosmetologist who owned and operated her own salon from home. But beyond her profession, her greatest calling was as a homemaker, where she poured her heart into raising her children and nurturing a home filled with love and laughter.
She held strong religious beliefs that guided her daily life and interactions with others. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family were evident in every part of her life. Her warmth made everyone feel at home in her presence, and she had a soft spot for her beloved dogs and an unmatched enthusiasm for online shopping.
Julie’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the healthcare workers who provided exceptional care to Julie throughout her years. A heartfelt appreciation goes to the MercyOne East ICU staff and doctors for their compassion and dedication in making her final days as comfortable as possible. Though she is no longer with us in body, we take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of her Savior.
