Katherine was born on August 5, 1967 in Buffalo, NY to Ishia Henderson and Isabell Timmons. She joined Darrell Phillips in married union on July 31, 2001 in Erie, PA. Katherine greatly enjoyed knitting and listening to many different genres of music. She played her hand at scratch tickets throughout her life, always hopeful for a win. Katherine was a mother to eight children. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 21 years, Darrell Phillips; children, Jeremy Henderson, Tosha Johnson, Dail Jerome Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Neji Bones, Darrell Phillips Jr., Jayden Phillips, Jordan Phillips and Isaiah Henderson; five grandchildren; siblings, Frances Henderson, Doug Marquies Henderson, Daiquille Henderson, Kenny Henderson, Marrell Henderson, Marcus Poston, Alexandria Timmons, Micheal Henderson, Ai-Mujahid-M.IBN, Timon "James" Henderson, Isaiah Henderson; one uncle, Willie, one aunt, Daisy and a host of nieces and nephews.
