Kathleen Ann Yingling

Kathleen Ann Yingling, 73, of Walcott passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 2:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday at the mortuary. She was born on November 28, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Otto and Bernice (Walk) Boerner. Kathleen was united in marriage to David E. Yingling on January 30, 1965. After 42 years of marriage with the husband she adored he preceded her in death on December 14, 2011.

Family was very important to Kathleen. She loved her children greatly and adored her husband. Kathleen loved the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues Hockey, and all animals, especially her Boston Terriers. She loved drag racing and went to Indianapolis for twelve years with her son. After many years of enjoying her time in bowling leagues she joined the Davenport Senior Bowling League. Kathleen also enjoyed ceramics for many years. She was great friend to have. Kathleen was a very caring and loving.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: David Yingling, Newton, IA, and Brian (Stacey) Yingling, Walcott; grandchildren Jamie Mason, Ft. Madison, Ashten Songer, Davenport, Brook Strohm, Davenport, and Jake; great grandchildren, Sebastian Mason, Rylee Songer, Christian Bowman, Morgan Jones and Axel Alatorre; brother, Jerry (Barb) Boerner, St. Louis sister Caroline (Gene) Stone, Henderson, KY; nieces Nikki (Sean) Patterson, Ginny (Caleb) Classe, and Peggy (Mike) Kirk, all of St. Louis, nephew Chuck (Nikki) Boerner, St. Louis; 3 great nieces, 1 great nephew, and 1 great great niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband.
