Kenneth R. Powers, 87, of Davenport, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at Crest Health Center in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the mortuary. Ken married Margaret Crecelius in 1948. She preceded him in death in 1981.He later married Eleanor Witt in 1985. He retired in 1980 from Brach Candy Co. after twenty-six years of service. His hobbies included fishing and he was an avid Chicago Cubs and Hawkeye football fan. Survivors include his wife Eleanor; children and spouses: Robert (Lana) Powers of Davenport, Tom (Judy) Powers of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Kathy (Tim) Hansen of Davenport and Patty (Fred) Witt of Walcott; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
