Kyle was born May 28, 1980, the son of Pamela Bishop and Daniel Symes. He was employed as an electrician and contractor for ten years. His hobbies included painting and he was an animal lover and firearms enthusiast. He was active in the Celtic Highland Games, a proud member of Clan Phoenix of the Quad Cities and enjoyed making homemade mead.
Survivors include his wife Heather Symes; mother and step-father Pamela and Matthew Bishop; father and step-mother Daniel and Jodi Symes; sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Mario Patalano; cats Tiger and Miss Kitty and dog Harley Blue.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Julia Symes and Thomas and Nancy Hutchinson.
Visitation begins at 3 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to the F.O.D. Group. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.
