Larry E. Byers, 72, of Davenport, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Handicapped Development Center in Davenport. There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Larry was born August 28, 1942 in Clinton, IA; the son of Elmer Edward and Eileen Virginia (Schriefer) Byers. He was a chocolate enthusiast.
Survivors include his siblings: Nancy Laham, NC; Eileen “Nonnie” (Nelson) DeVol, Davenport; Carol Ann (Doug) Hurt, Urbandale, IA; Myra Heer, Winchester, VA; Hal L. (Barb) Byers, Winchester, CA; Glynn (Vickie) Byers, Branson, MO and Van A. Byers, Watertown, WI. His parents, brother, Jack and a sister, Helen preceded him in death.
