

Funeral services for Lee B. Crane, 74, of Davenport will be 11:00 am on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary. Burial will take place at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island. Family will greet friends on Friday from 10:00 am to service time at the Mortuary. There will also be a gathering on Sunday at Mary’s on 2nd Street (832 W. 2nd, Davenport).Lee passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his home in Davenport.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisting family with arrangements.Lee Bernie Crane was born on December 29, 1938 in Enid, OK, the son of Wilbur and Jesse (Domingo) Crane. He married Sharon Faye Stoneking on June 9, 1995 in Berryville, AR. Lee worked as a Truck Driver for the Salvation Army and also worked as a Porter on the President Riverboat. He served in the U.S Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Lee enjoyed fishing, and taking his grandson to feed the ducks. He loved to read, especially James Patterson and Stephen King. He also enjoyed going to his favorite watering hole, “Doo-Dah Tap”.Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Davenport, daughters; Betty Stoneking of Davenport, Cindy Stoneking of Prairie du Chien, WI, 2 grandsons; daughters; Eileen, Linda and Debbie, all of New York and his favorite Aunt, Mary “June Bug” Crane, and favorite mailman, Jeff.He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.The family would like to thank Genesis VNA Hospice for their compassion and excellent care during Lee’s Illness.Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.Cunnick-Collins.com.
