Lera Nell Logsdon

Lera Nell Logsdon, 88, of Davenport, passed away April 9, 2026, at The Vistas in Bettendorf. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, also at Weerts Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.

Lera was born April 10, 1937, to Lander and Ruby (Purdue) Pruitt in Glasgow, Kentucky, one of 9 children. On March 4, 1958, she was united in marriage to Bluford Logsdon Jr. in Cave City, KY. The couple relocated to Davenport in 1965.

Lera worked in the bottling plant for Pepsi-Cola for 35 years. Outside of work, she could be found gardening or refinishing antique furniture with her husband. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Lera is survived by her children, Tim (Janet) Logsdon and Trendy (Tim) Stepp; her grandchildren, Darin, Steve, Bridget, Jarred, and Tyler; her 9 great grandchildren; and her special nephew and niece, Kelly and Tammy Logsdon.

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her 8 siblings; her daughter, Karen Rank; and her son-in-law, Mitchell Rank.
