Cremation will be done with a memorial service to be held 12:00 pm Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Davenport Memorial Park Chapel. Memorials in her name may be made to the family. Please share condolences with the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Linda was born May 14, 1948 to Harland & Betty (Swanson) Marx. Linda had been employed for 37 years as a cook with the Davenport Community School System. She was proud to say she fed 4 million kids over the years. After retirement, Linda went on to work at Hy-Vee in the kitchen for another 20 years. Linda enjoyed visiting the casino, taking care of her dog Lucy, and working puzzles.
Survivors include her son Marc Williamson, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Jessica, Ryne & Jeffrey Oldham, Angelina Graham, Marissa & Jeremiah Williamson; 1 great grandchild Star Barnhart; cousins; and nieces & nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kristi Oldham, & a grandson Zackary Westerhof.
