Lisa D. Johnson

A gathering to celebrate the life of Lisa D. Johnson, 50, of Milan, IL, formerly of Davenport will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary in Davenport. A private burial will be held at a later date. Lisa died at her residence on Thursday, March 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Lisa Dawn Godfrey was born on July 5, 1966 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Lawrence and Shirley (Geneseo) Gobb. Following her graduation from Davenport West High School she married Michael R. Johnson in February of 1993. She also attended cosmetology school and then began her career at Sharon’s Styling Studio where she worked for the next 19 years when she was forced to retire just recently due to failing health. She was a member of the Heritage QC Church and loved being a Mom and Grandma. Surviving members of the family include – a Daughter: Hayleigh (Austin) Ramirez of Davenport; 1 Son: Austin (Nicole) Nelles of Davenport; 2 Sisters: Lori (Danny) Aguierre and Robin Rivers; a Brother: Lawrence (Jennifer) Gobb; a Granddaughter Lily; and her Parents: Lawrence & Shirley Gobb. She was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Sue. Memorials may be made to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
