Davenport, IA Memorial services for Lisa R. (Stenger) Mallette, 50, of Davenport, will be 1:00 pm on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, (1200 East 39th St. Davenport). Family will greet friends on Friday from 11:00 am to service time at the Mortuary. Immediately following the service will be a luncheon at Christian Center Church, 2103 W. 3rd St. Davenport.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary in charge of arrangments.Lisa passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport after battling a long term illness.Lisa Rose Stenger was born on November 1, 1958, in Davenport, the daughter of William and Alice (Walker) Stenger. She graduated from West High School in 1977.Lisa loved going to church where she found hope and strength in the Lord. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her loving daughter, Danielle and her son-in-law, Tony Brown. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law; Danielle (Mallette) Brown and Tony Brown, parents; William (Kathy) Stenger of Davenport and mother; Alice Stenger, Davenport, brothers; Mick Stenger of Stockton, Donald (Karen) Stenger of Iowa City, a sister Linda (Lee) Shaffer, Davenport. And many nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to the family.A special thanks to the Hice family, patients and staff at Genesis East Dialysis Center.
