Lloyd Raymond Riendeau

Lloyd Raymond Riendeau, 76, of Davenport passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10:00 am on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Holy Family Church, Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family or Holy Family Church. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed by visiting www.rungemortuary.com. He was born on June 7, 1940 in Argyle Village, Minnesota the son of Ralph R. and Arneline E. (Sourdiff) Riendeau. He was a proud Marine veteran. On May 13, 1961 Lloyd was united in marriage to Nettie Martin. After 36 years of dedicated service he retired from Oscar Mayer in 1996. Lloyd was proud of his QC Cruisers Membership. He enjoyed walking the mall and the fitness club. He took great pride in his family, especially his grandchildren. Lloyd had a big heart and was always willing to help whenever anyone was in need. Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife of 55 years, Nettie Riendeau; children: Michael Riendeau, Tina (Ron Jr) Morrison; grandchildren: Joshua (Emily) Morrison, Eric Morrison and Miranda Morrison; brother, Robert Riendeau; sisters-in-law, Prudy Riendeau and Georgia Riendeau and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Donald, Vernon and Raymond; mother-in-law, Julia Matherly and grandmother-in-law, Elizabeth Winters.
