Louise Emily Marolf

Funeral services will be Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon until 2 pm, at the mortuary. Memorials may go to St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be left at rungemortuary.com.

Louise was born on the Oak Home Farm in Sugar Creek Township, Cedar County, IA. She was the daughter of William Imbert and Emma Strohbehn (Rakocy) Marolf.

She worked as a reservation agent for National Airlines and later worked at the Davenport Bank and Trust Company, Bettendorf Bank and Trust Company and the Holiday and Clarion Hotels prior to retirement. She loved working with flowers and enjoyed music. She was a past member of the Women of the Moose and a current member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

Those left to honor her memory include sister-in-law, Marlene Marolf; nieces/nephews: Stephen Marolf, Albert (Tracy) Marolf Jr., Douglas (Christine) Marolf, Misty Tague, Gearald (Kimberly) Tague and Sarah (Michael) Gilles; 23 great nieces/nephews and 13 great-great nieces/nephews. Her parents, brothers, Frederick and Albert Marolf, sister Evelyn Marolf, nephews Max Tague and William Marolf along with a niece, Cynthia Beaudette preceded Louise in death.
