Lula Louise Hill

Louise Hill, 93 of Davenport passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities, Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 6, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 4:00 pm Saturday at Allerton, IA Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Davenport First Christian Church or Handicapped Development Center. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Lula Louise Renoe was born April 3, 1924 in Wayne County, IA a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Cox) Renoe. On June 26, 1946 she married Robert A. Hill. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1972. She was employed as a registered nurse in the psychiatric department at Mercy Hospital prior to her retirement. She was an active member of Davenport First Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School for years. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music. In her younger years she enjoyed playing the piano. Those left to honor her memory include: step-daughter, Kay (Dick) Davison, AZ; grandchildren: Kathy Bryson, Wendy (Roy) Michaelsen, Jeffrey (Connie) Davison and Rebecca Fuller; six great grandchildren; son-in-law, Tom Fuller and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her infant son, Dale; daughter, Barbara Fuller and son, Keith. The family would like to thank close friends, care givers and staff at the Iowa Masonic Home for their continuous support.
