Lynda L. Kreiter, 82, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded and private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in Lynda's name may be made to the Davenport Lutheran Home or the the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Lynda was born on February 15, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Bill and Mary DeGrey. She was united in marriage to Gary Kreiter on January 24, 1997 in San Antonio, Texas. Lynda was a talented seamstress and loved to decorate her home with her handcrafted decorations. She and Gary loved to travel, collect Western memorabilia and turquoise jewelry. Lynda also enjoyed playing dominos and euchre along with spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 27 years Gary; daughter Kayla; son Cameron; step-children Kevin (Patti), Jackie (Roberto), and Kandi (Brad); grandchildren Nikki, Kirk, Jesse, and Kianna; and great-grandchildren Bentley and Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary.
