Margaret "Lulu" Teague

Funeral services for Margaret “Lulu” Teague, 63, of Davenport will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Mrs. Teague passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center – West Campus, Davenport. Margaret Luella Acosta was born on November 16, 1953 in Davenport, the daughter of Frederick and Margaret (Buckner) Acosta. She married Vernon Teague on February 23, 1974 He preceded her in death in 1987. Lulu presently worked at Cobham in Davenport for 44 years. She enjoyed bowling, home decor, and shopping. She is survived by her Son: Vernon Teague of Davenport Step-daughter: Temetria Miller of Chicago, Step-son: Chris Palmer of East Moline; Siblings: Matthew Acosta of KS, Franceal (Clifford) Hinton of Davenport, Francene (Charles) Speights of Davenport; 3 Grandchildren: Tyshanique Teague, Darius Teague, and Alannah Teague, 3 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Acosta, Jr. in 2004. Memorials may be directed to the family.
