Marjorie “Jeanne” (Sunderbruch) Nissen, 100, of Davenport, IA, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Ridgecrest. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 14, at Weerts Funeral Home, with visitation held an hour prior, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Jeanne was born November 24, 1920, to August and Blondine (Kiel) Sunderbruch in Moline, IL. On October 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to Myron W. Nissen at First Presbyterian Church in Davenport. To this union, they had two children, William and Stephanie. Jeanne was a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Tuesday Book Club, Jewel Club, and president of Ridgecrest Resident Council & Bridge Club. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, visiting, and volunteer work.

Jeanne will be missed by her children, William (Billie) Nissen of Davenport and Stephanie (William) Prioste of Manteca, CA; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Myron, in 2000; and a brother, Richard.
