Mary Elizabeth (Laing) Phillips, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Mary was born November 22, 1946 in Ottawa, Illinois. She married Norman L. Phillips in 1994. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of Bettendorf First Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, D. Bradley Pierson, daughter Joy M. Rosenow; four grandchildren: Joshua (Chelsea), Justine, Clayton and Kimberly; two great grandchildren; brother, R. Pete Laing and a sister, Joan M. Ray. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom.
