Memorial services for Mary C. Samuelson, 67, of Bettendorf will be held at a later date. Mary passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her home in Bettendorf.Mary Cynthia Nelzin was born on July 15, 1947 in LeClaire, IA, the daughter of Arnold and Elizabeth (DeWild) Nelzin. She married Larry Samuelson in March of 1970 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport. They were later divorced. In her earlier years, Mary owned and operated the “Total Look” beauty shop in Davenport. She also sold Mary Kay Cosmetics. She most recently had worked at McDonalds on West Locust Street, Davenport. Survivors include her son; Todd (Angela) Samuelson of Broken Arrow, OK, two grandchildren; Emily and Riley and a great-grandson Cassel Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents.
