

Matthew James Mammen, 38, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at home of an aneurysm. There will be not services at this time. Private burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Matthew was born on May 30, 1984, in Davenport, the son of Randall Gene Mammen and Diane (Williams) Mammen. Matthew was baptized in Jesus’ name at Grandview Baptist Church in Davenport. He graduated from West High School in June 2002, and attended Scott Community College.
Matthew loved playing his saxophone and being in the marching band, photography, and vacationing at Gulf Shores and Biloxi Beach with his family. Matthew had the gift of creating unique nick-names for the friends that made their way into his life. He will be missed dearly.
Those celebrating his life include his parents; grandparents, William F. Williams, and Gerald and Leona Mammen; aunts Joan (Tony) Bednarik, and Barbara (Rick) Osterkamp; 2 nephews, Elijah and Alexander Mammen; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and half-brother, Jacob Mammen; special friend, James Bell. He will be missed by many close friends and family.
Matthew was preceded by his brother Jason Mammen, half-sister Leanna Mammen, grandmother Marguerette Williams, grandfather Gerald Mammen, and aunt Linda Williams; uncle, Marty Mammen,
