Maybell (Maisie) Koos, of Davenport passed away on March 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Her mom and dad were Hans and Rosabelle Thomsen. She married Gilbert Koos in 1946. He passed away on March 27, 1993. Maisie worked at the former Westfair Laundromat & Cleaners for 18 years. She also worked at Trinity North Hospital as a volunteer. Mrs. Koos was a proud member of the Davenport Police Wives Auxiliary. She never missed a meeting. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors. Maisie loved playing cards and enjoyed lunches at Genesis East and West. Her survivors are Gary and Carolyn Koos and Debi and Tom Kline; also Gilbert Lee and Pat Koos and Robert Koos. She had many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a step-daughter, Donna Clark.
