Michael Shane Ford

Michael Shane Ford, 44, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away peacefully Monday, February 5th, 2018 at his home. Services in celebration of his life will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, Feb.9th at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, where his family will greet friends from 4:00 pm until time of service. Memorials may be made to any no kill animal shelter.

Michael was born in 1973 in Lexington, KY to Curtis and Patty Osborn. He married Nicole Nipper on September 5, 2015 in Coal Valley, Illinois. He worked in the automotive business for 30 years and just recently was a Diagnostics Technician for Snap On Corporation. He was a great mechanic and cars were his passion. Michael was an entrepreneur who enjoyed working on houses and cars, was an avid Broncos fan, and loved the outdoors, animals, and time with family and friends. He was the most amazing person in the whole world. He loved his wife, adored his children and grandchildren, and was a very loyal friend.

Survivors include his wife Nicole; daughters Phlesia Ford and Viktorea Ford, both of Davenport; grandchildren Kaliyah, RJ and one- on- the- way; mother Patty Osborn of Eldridge; sister Alicia Maxwell of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and brother Matthew Mead of Bettendorf, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
