Memorial services for Mildred L. Haines, 91, of Davenport will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at First Assembly of God in Bettendorf. Per her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Iowa Hospital for medical research and education. Mrs. Haines passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at her residence. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements. Mildred L. Miller was born February 20, 1922 in Agency, IA, the daughter of Cecil and Nita (Proctor) Miller. On February 14, 1942, she married Richard V. Haines in Lancaster, MO. He preceded her in death in 2009. Mildred and her husband raised two children in Ottumwa, IA and later relocated to the Quad Cities in 1973. They were members of First Assembly of God in Bettendorf. She is survived by a Daughter: Cheryl Rogers of Golden, CO; a Son: Craig (Scherry) Haines of Davenport; a Sister: Wilma Arnold of Ottumwa, IA; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters. Memorials may be directed to First Assembly of God – Building Fund.
