Myrtle M. Anderson, 74, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Home in Davenport, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 12:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Myrtle was born April 28, 1940 in Davenport; the daughter of William E. and Louise W. (Fells) Bish. She married John Anderson in 1958 in Muscatine; he preceded her in death in 2005.
Myrtle was a strong and loving mother who lovingly raised her adoring children.
Survivors include her children: Rick Anderson (Leta); Annette Gustaf (Steve); Keith, Jerry, Billie, Andy and Peggy Eckles(Mark); fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and sisters: Dorothy Milburn, Laura Thomas, Betty Bish and Edna Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
