Pamela Kay Gabel

Pamela “Pam” K. Gabel, 69, of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Per her request cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time.

Pam was born on March 7, 1954 to Billy and Patricia Rockwell in Marshalltown, Iowa. Pam loved to care for others and even ran her own daycare center for many years before she retired in 2018. Family was very important to her and always made sure that her daughters and grandchildren knew how much she loved and cared about them. Pam’s generosity didn’t stop with just helping others, she also helped to care for the local strays in her area. She loved to listen to music, paint, and watch scary movies in her free time. Pam was an outgoing woman and was always the life of the party.

Those left to honor her memory are her two daughters Freddie (Tobin) Ramsay and Garland (Frederick Victor, Jr) Grant and her beloved grandchildren Raiden Pecoraro, Damion Offutt, Apollo Victor, and Frederick Victor III. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Kingston Victor.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at the Bettendorf Health Care Facility for all of their love and support during Pam’s stay with them.
