Pam was born February 7, 1957 in Moline, IL the daughter of Daniel and Norma S. (Harris) Wolfe. She was united in marriage to Terry A. Schild on June 4, 1984 in Davenport. She retired in 2012 from Sentry Insurance where she had been an agent for the past 15 years.
She was a gentle, kind and loving woman; a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life joyfully for her family. She was a spiritual person who saw the beauty in life through every sunrise and sunset. Pam had stated, “Every night I get to see a sunset and not one is the same.” She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest joy was watching her two sons grow into the fine men they are today. She had a love for baseball and enjoyed watching her sons play. There was no other place she would rather be on a sunny afternoon than attending all the games; she was so proud of them! She was co-founder of the North Scott Renegades baseball team. She herself was a good athlete and good in all that she did. Pam loved dancing, camping in Colorado and spending all Thanksgivings down home with her family. She loved fishing off the lakefront pier at Fire Lake, where she’d throw a pole in every morning. Just two months ago, she and Terry golfed 18 holes, where her strength came from was amazing. Her perfect day was taking long walks with her sons in the woods when they were young.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Terry, Sherrard; sons: Tyler Schild, Camp Pendtleton, CA and Seth (Stephanie) Schild, Moyack, NC; grandchildren, Tanner and Silas; her mother, Norma Ashley, East Moline, IL; brothers: David (Janet) Wolfe, Geneseo, IL; Keith Wolfe, Silvis, IL; step-brother, Rodney Ashley, Moline, IL; step-sister, Sandy Henning, Silvis, IL and her BFF, Cindy Sackfield. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Leon Ashley; older brother, Daniel Lee Wolfe and her grandparents. A special thanks to Julie for her wonderful care and the staff at UnityPoint Hospice.
