Patricia L. (Grant) Posten

Patricia L. (Grant) Posten, 61, of Davenport passed away at 10:10 p.m. on November 8, 2010 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Beach Pub in Buffalo, IA. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements. Patricia Lee Grant was born in Moline, IL on June 13, 1949, the daughter of John and Virginia (Groves) Grant. She married Jim Posten on July 7, 2007 in Buffalo, IA. He preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. Posten worked as a sales clerk at Shell in Buffalo, IA. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid NASCAR fan. She had a special way of making everyone smile. She is survived by a Daughter: Stephanie (Mike) Dalrymple of Morrison, IL; a Son: Alan (Mandy Marland) Coulter of Durant, IA; three Sisters: Connie (Gil) Coonfare of Andalusia, IL, Diane (Dale) Stowe of Buffalo, IA, Sherry (Bob) Shinn of Apache Junction, AZ; two Brothers: Steven (Barb) Grant of North Port, FL, Chuck Kroeger of Buffalo, IA; her “other” Mother: Muriel Grant Davis; and 6 Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven M. Bowen, Jr. Memorials may be directed to the family. The family would like to thank all at Genesis East and West who provided her with care and dignity. Our special thanks to the Clarissa C.
