

A memorial service for Patricia J. Ritchie, 74, of Davenport will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3801 Hillandale Rd., Davenport. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Patricia passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Manor Care – Utica Ridge in Davenport. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Patricia Jayne Lawrence was born on February 10, 1942 in Washington, MO, the daughter of George and Deloris (Kelly) Lawrence. She married Lebert McDowell Sr., and was later married to Henry Ritchie, Jr. Prior to her retirement in 1996, she worked in housekeeping at Marycrest College. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 2, 1998. She had a deep love of the Bible and an unwavering reliance on Jehovah God. She enjoyed attending Bible meetings at the Kingdom Hall, where she had acquired many good friends. Patricia will be fondly remembered for her great sense of humor and the constant twinkle in her eye. She enjoyed her weekly shopping trips to Walmart, rock collecting and owls, but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two Children: Vicki McDowell of Moline, IL, Lebert “Sam” McDowell, Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; four Grandchildren: Detriss McDowell, Tarissa (Brandon Strickland) McDowell, Tayla McDowell, Talon Lee; three Great-Grandchildren: Zorianna, Zavian, Keani McDowell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lebert McDowell Sr. and Henry Ritchie Jr.
