Memorial services for Patrick Frederick, 71, of Davenport will be 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport. Inurnment will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 9:00 am to service time at the church.Patrick passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.Patrick Martin Frederick was born on February 22, 1944 in Davenport, the son of Nicholas and Catherine (Toher) Frederick. He married Brenda Straw on July 21, 1979 in Davenport. Patrick worked in banquet setup at the Radisson Hotel for the past 19 years. Patrick was an avid Cardinal’s fan. He was a member of the A.A.R.P., and Plus 60 Club. He also volunteered at the Central Community Circle Food Pantry and St. Mark Food Pantry. Survivors include his wife, Brenda of Davenport, daughters; Eunice Abernathey, Laurie (Brett) Kohler, both of Davenport, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother; Daniel (Sandra) Frederick of LeClaire, IA., a favorite niece; Vironda Dailey of Park View and his cat “Sara”.He is preceded in death by his parents, a great great grandson; Atreus Bowman, a brother; Nicholas, and a sister-in-law; Norine Frederick.Memorials may be directed to the Central Community Circle Food Pantry, the St. Mark Food Pantry or the Epilepsy Foundation.
