Patty Jeanne Roberts

Patty J. Roberts, 81, of Spencer, Iowa passed away on May 22, 2021 at Riverview Manor, Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Weasy’s Lounge & Grill in Spencer, Iowa Memorials may be left to the University of Iowa Research for Dementia. Patty was born on January 31, 1940 in Lexington, NE to Oren and Lena (Waechter) Hibbs. Patty was the youngest of five children. She loved her simple life and was very much devoted to her children. She enjoyed special moments such as taking long walks in the evening with her daughter in her hometown of Spencer, making cookies at Christmas time and traveling to see her family in Nebraska. Patty was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. There was never a time where you could not hear country music playing in her home.

Survivors include her children Kevin (Judy) Roberts of Huntsville, AL and Kimberly (Kurt) Karnstedt of Davenport and one grandson Kevin (Sophie) Karnstedt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
