Rebecca "Becky" Brannon

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Weerts Funeral Home, Jersey Ridge and Kimberly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Weerts Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery following the service. Memorials in Becky’s name can be made to the family.

Becky was born in 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa to Guy and Elsie Lawson. She graduated from Waterloo High School in 1968. Becky married the love of her life, Michael "Mike" Brannon on July 22, 1967. She and Mike traveled across the United States and vacationed in Europe whenever possible. Becky was a loving mother and grandma. Family was extremely important to her and she was very excited about meeting her new great-grandchild who is due January 2020.

Those left to honor Becky’s memory are her husband, Mike; daughters Sherrie (Mike) Hardy and Jennifer (Doug) Suman; grandchildren: Kelley (Joe) Bevelacqua, Laurie Hardy, Anastasia Suman, and Payne Suman; her sibling Robert (Wanda) Lawson and Delores Guhl; and her very special fur babies, Tootsie and Trixie. She was preceded in death by her parents and four infant siblings.
