Rex J. Davison, 74, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Aspire of Muscatine. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11am at the Wapello Cemetery in Wapello, Iowa. Memorials in Rex’s memory may be made to the Handicapped Development Center of Davenport, Iowa.
Rex was born on March 1, 1949 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Rex and Lucile Davison. He was a graduate of Davenport West High School. Rex worked for the State of Iowa for many years as a custodian. He was united in marriage to Karen Donahue who passed away in 2015. Rex enjoyed collecting baseball cards, word search puzzles, and sports of all kinds. He was well known for his contagious and friendly smile along with his willingness to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it.
Those left to honor his memory are his brothers Mark (Leslie) and John Davison; nephews Andrew and John; along with five great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen and his parents Rex and Lucile
