Richard “Ricky” A. Fording, Jr., 58, of Davenport, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Per his wishes cremation rites were accorded. Ricky was born on March 28, 1953 in Davenport, son of Richard Sr. and Mary (Rohrer) Fording.
He loved the Chicago Bears and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ricky was a fun loving person with a big heart and never had an enemy.
Those left to honor his memory are his parents, Richard Sr. and Mary Fording, Davenport; daughter, Courtney Hawley; sisters Debbie (Steve) Weindruch, Bettendorf, Cathy Machalek, Davenport, Sandy (Brad) Foreman, Rapid City, IL; brother John Fording, Davenport; nieces and nephews, David, Lisa, Beth, Marcella, Amelia, Eric, Michael, Briauna and Emelio; and special friend, Eileen Gregory, Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and beloved dog Maggie Mae.
