Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Thursday, 21 April 2016 at Runge Funeral Home in

Davenport, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to

7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial will follow the service at Davenport Memorial Park

Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either the

American Cancer Society, the American Heart

Association, the Florida Police Benevolent Association,

Inc. (PBA) or to the Concerns of Police Survivors

Robert was born December 18, 1932 in Davenport,

the son of Leroy and Evelyn Gertrude (Yost) Adrian.

Robert was a graduate of Davenport High School where

he excelled on both the varsity football and basketball

teams. He married Patricia Mae Fosdyck on June 27,

1957, in Davenport, IA. Robert was a veteran of the

United States Army and worked for the United States

Postal Service in Davenport for 35 years, serving as

both a Postal Clerk and a Rural-Route Carrier. Robert

enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and

traveling with his wife Patricia.

Those left to honor his memory includes his sister

Madonna Lee (Adrian) Hughes of Davenport, his sons

Robert K. “Kim” Adrian, of Davenport, James K. Adrian

of Davenport, Steven K. Adrian of Davenport, Mark L.

Adrian of Greenbelt, MD, two grandsons, five

granddaughters and one great-grandson. Robert was

proceeded in death by his wife Patricia in April of 2014

and his parents.
