Robert L. McCulloh

Memorial services for Robert L. McCulloh, 87, of Dewitt, IA will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Low Moor, IA Methodist Church. Following the services, friends and family are invited to the Low Moor Community Center for a time of remembering and fellowship. Mr. McCulloh passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center – West Wing in Dewitt. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service in Davenport assisted the family with arrangements. Robert Lee McCulloh was born on December 30, 1926 in Clinton County, IA, the son of W.C. and Rosalie (Helble) McCulloh. He graduated from DeWitt High School in 1945. On April 11, 1948 he married Lois M. Mommsen in Preston, IA. She preceded him in death in 2000. Together they raised four children, and Robert farmed in the areas of Clinton and Scott County until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Low Moor Methodist Church. He is survived by his Children: Jane (Robert) Mrofka of Chicago, IL, Waylyn (Cheryl) McCulloh of LeClaire, IA, Robert (Nancy) McCulloh of St. Cloud, MN; 5 Grandchildren and two Great-grandchildren; and a Brother: Glen McCulloh of DeWitt. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Dr. David McCulloh, and two brothers, Winton and Allen McCulloh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Genesis Medical Center- West Wing in DeWitt, or to the University of Iowa Pediatric Cancer Unit.
