We are so sorry for your loss.  We were out of town and didn't fly back to Des Moines till Tuesday afternoon, we are sorry  we couldn't be there for you.

Bobby, I am so sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Your dad will always be with you and in subtle ways, he will let you know he's there.

My heart goes out to all my cousins and aunt liz,even thro we have lost contract over the years ,my mom and dad stayed pretty close  to aunt liz and uncle bob,they enjoyed their visit to iowa and always said how sweet all you guys were,she loved you all,i have fond memories of spending summer vac in iowa with you guys  when i was young,going fishing on the Mississippi and stock car races,uncle bob was a very sweet and good father to all his kids ,and who ever stayed with them, i remember him and my dad joking about shoe size and talking cars ,i will always have these wonderful memories held in my heart ,as i miss my parents  so much ,i find comfort in  believing  he's in heaven joking with my dad now. So love you all and RIP uncle bob ,you are so loved

May you R.I.P. Dad Smith, I have so many fond memmeries of you. I am proud to say that I too am one of your kids. 💚

Bob was a good man, loving husband and father that shall be missed but remembered fondly by anyone who knew him. He impacted so many lives as his eight children and over hundred grandchildren and great grandchildren had so many loving memories. He truly leaves behind a legacy to be proud of. You shall be greatly missed.
