Robin D. Peters

Robin Peters (York), 53, loving daughter of God most high, beloved wife, daughter and sister, went home to be with Jesus Monday, March 13, 2017. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the mortuary. Robin was born February 26, 1964 in Davenport, the daughter of Dean and Patricia York. She graduated from Central High School and Palmer College of Chiropractic. She worked as a Chiropractic Technician.

Robin was united in marriage to Jerald Peters on November 10, 2008. She enjoyed traveling from one ocean to the other, top to bottom, seeing God’s great creation to the fullest, with her husband, and relaxing on Sunday afternoons with her father, brothers and sisters. Robin loved animals, especially horses and dogs, and never missed an opportunity of spending time in the sunshine and nature.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jerald Peters; parents: Dean York, Patricia York and Sharon York; brothers and sisters: Harry York, Greg Ashby, David York, Allen York, Charlotte Haertjens, Sherry Murphy, Ron York, Alice York-Baugh, John York and Tina Knuffman; brother-in-law, Richard Peters; God children whom she lovingly helped raise: Emma Lawson (York), Chad York and Joshua York; granddaughter by proxy of her heart Isabella York; lots of nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Dale and Dorothy York and Harry and Lillian Summers.
