Ronald Eugene Hansen

Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 PM, Friday, May 16, 2014 at Living Hope Community Church, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family. Online tributes can be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Ron was born on August 14, 1956, in Streator, IL, the son of Donald R. and Louise (Whitehurst) Hansen. He married Vicki Mall on July 3, 1996.

Ron attended Moline Schools. He enjoyed attending sporting events, mall walking, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed the company of his beloved pets. Ron was an outgoing, generous man, and friend to all. He was Uncle Ron to numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was loved by many and will be missed. Ron continued his generosity by being an organ donor to the Gift of Hope.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, step-mother Gloria (Nixon) Hansen; half brothers, Wayne Hansen and Don Hansen Jr., both of Michigan; brothers Dave (Chris) Hansen, Rock Island, Mike (Leona) Hansen, Moline, Don (Barb) Hansen, Moline, and Terry (Connie) Hansen, Rapids City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Hansen.
