Ronald retired from Pepsi Co. in 2002, but never gave up his Love for the taste of it!
Ronald continued to stay active by doing what made him happy, and everyone knows, that that was Mowing Lawns and keeping everyone's lawns looking the Best in town! He loved the phrase "to rest is to rust".
When he wasn't working on his craft, He would enjoy the rest of his time watching television with his wife, Joyce. They really enjoyed American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent. He was always amazed by the talents of such people, but especially the singers. Ronald also enjoyed small road trips to Muscatine or Balltown, Joyce's hometown.
But most especially, Ronald enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his FAMILY. Ronald spent any chance he could with his 7 children, from his previous marriage to Donna Miller, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his wife's daughter, granddaughters and great-grandchildren. He was saddened when his brother Danny passed, but was blessed to still have his 3 sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Joyce Miller; children: Mark (Sherry) Miller, Tracy Miller, Gary Miller, Randy Miller, Mary Miller, Keith Miller, and Jeani Miller; stepdaughter, Mary Ann Sampson; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Debbie (Dan) Connard, Barb Meyers, and Cindy (Dean) Powers; sister-in-law, Mary Miller; nieces: Shelly, Lisa, Angie, and Julie; and nephews: Brad, Nathaniel, Josh, and Randy.
Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, both sets of parents and 2 great-grandchildren.
One word to describe Ronald would be "Giving". He would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed it.
Ronald will be truly missed by anyone who ever met him."
