Ronald A. Rhoades

Memorial services for Ronald A. Rhoades, age 51, of Davenport will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the Mortuary. Ronnie died on Friday, May 22, 2009 at his residence.Ronald Allen Rhoades was born on December 10, 1957 in California, the son of Ervin and Beverly (Johnson) Rhoades. He served in the United States Army from 1979 until 1982. In 1990 he married Charlotte Lemaitre in Arizona. Ronnie worked as a deckhand for the Blackhawk Fleet. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars with his son, Ryan. He loved animals, especially his dog Toby, and enjoyed visiting Arizona and Colorado. He is survived by a Son: Ryan Rhoades of Davenport; a Daughter: Tiffany Rhoades of Memphis, TN; a Step-daughter: Brittany of TX; two Sisters: Debra Dawson, and Rhonda (Larry) Pruden both of Davenport; a Sister-in-Law: Tanya Rhoades of Davenport; an Aunt: Nancy Grisham of Hannibal, MO; a Great Aunt: Lou Schlump; a Great Uncle: Art Rhoades; 11 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents; a sister, Brenda; a brother, Michael, two nieces, a nephew, and a great-niece.
