A visitation will be held Friday November 29, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Russ was cremated per his wishes. A private burial will be held at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born in Davenport, Iowa on September 11, 1950 to Albert (Gus) and Marlynd (Coffman) Millage. Russ was graduate of Bettendorf High School.
In 1972 he married Mary Finzel in Epworth, Iowa. They had two children. Jason (Maria Pacheco) and Jill (Kevin) Lueders. Four grandchildren, Shayn Walker, Justin Millage, Jasmine and Gage Lueders. Russ and Mary divorced in 1997.
Russ learned the printing trade from his father and his business partner Stan Buckles. Together they operated the family business Du-All printing Company with Russ managing after his Dads retirement. He later worked for RR Donnelley Printing in Iowa City until his retirement in 2019.
Russ was a loyal Hawkeye fan. He was always ready to have conversations about sports. He enjoyed playing baseball as a young adult as a pitcher and played slow pitch softball as an adult. He was also an avid golfer.
Survivors besides his children and grandkids are two brothers, Dave (Sandee) Millage and Bruce Millage; a sister, Brenda (Ken) Feddersen; niece, Erica Baraks.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
