Funeral services will be 12:00pm Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. The family will greet friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the mortuary. Russ was born October 27, 1939, in Madison, WI to Stanley & Irene (Kopp) Weisrock. He was united in marriage to his wife of 67 years, Janice Barber, on June 14, 1958, in Davenport, IA. Russ had worked at the former ALCOA for 33 years prior to retirement. He then owned and operated the Coliseum in Walcot with his family for 33 years, while working at Hy Vee.

Russ was huge sports fan and enjoyed watching the Hawkeyes and supporting his kids & grandkids as they played and coached sports. Russ loved to go dancing with Janice and always enjoyed a good waltz. He was a very caring person and was always willing to help others. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Weisrock; daughter Kelley (Patrick Fennelly) Weisrock; sons Craig (Carrie) Weisrock, Jim (Tammy) Weisrock, & Mike (Kara) Weisrock; grandchildren Ethan (Sara) Weisrock, Kassie (Joe) Johnson, Konner Krummel, Parker Weisrock, Sara Jo Weisrock, & Megan L. Weisrock.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents.
