Sandra Denay Johnson

Sandra D. Johnson, 60, formerly of Davenport, of St. Louis, MO passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be held by the family at a later date. Burial will take place at Oakdale Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com

Sandra was born on December 14, 1962 in St. Louis, MO to Sam Johnson and Katherine Andrews Johnson. She worked as a CNA and home healthcare aid. She loved the families she cared for and was currently employed by St. Louis University Hospitals and Seniors Helping Seniors. Sandra’s caretaking went beyond titles, it was in her nature to care for others.

Sandra was forever young at heart, she loved playing video games such as Candy Crush and enjoyed listening to rap. Sandra also enjoyed trips abroad traveling to the Bahamas and Mexico. Dearest to her heart was her family. Sandra expressed her love for them in countless ways, with cooking being a central part of her household. She made a legendary quiche. Sandra’s presence will be missed by many, including her clients, coworkers, and family.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Anitra Johnson, Devlin (Tiffany) Johnson, Michael Brewer, Passion Johnson; grandchildren, Deondre (Kim) Graves, Darrion Murray, Derek Murray, Amir Johnson, Mikayla Murray, Quayvion Johnson, Jayden Brewer, Daevion Johnson, Zuri Johnson, Devlin Johnson Jr., Dominck Johnson, and great-grandchildren, Desiree and Jaylen Graves.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
