Funeral services for Sidney J. Funk, 53, of Davenport will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery. Sid lost his battle with liver disease on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Sidney was born on April 6, 1962 in Ottumwa, IA, the son of Richard and Donna (Carmen) Funk. He later relocated to Davenport. He is survived by a Son: Dain Schinckel of Milan, IL; a Daughter: Nicole Wolf of Davenport; 5 Sisters: Marsha Reyes of California, Martha Fiscella of Texas, Marlana Funk, Marla Thomas, and Margo Kimbrough, all of Davenport; a Brother: Richard Funk of Davenport; 3 Grandchildren: Nathan Schinckel, Coralee Schinckel, Jecelyn Wolf. He was preceded in death by his parents.
