My sympathies to the family. Susanne visited my parents many times in the hospitals. They enjoyed her visits and her prayers were comforting. May she rest in peace.

I met your mother through the parish nurse program. She was a very kind and compassionate soul. I will miss her gentle spirit.  My sympathies to you and your family, Carol Burns 

Susanne and I rode school bus to Key Ridge School for many years.  We always sat together on the bus.  She was such a nice person and I am so sorry that she has passed.  I will always remember her.  RIP


I graduated with Susie class of1965 she was a very nice person. Prayers for her family she will missed.

Susanne and I went to Bellaire High School together. She lived across the hall from me at OVGH school of nursing. She was always vibrant, pleasant, kind, caring, and ambitious. The memory of her laughter has always stayed with me. She meant so much to so many! She was an inspiration to her nurse classmates and all who knew her. The world is a better place because of her. Such a beautiful person that will be greatly missed by all of us.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Susanne.  Susanne and I first met at the Genesis Water Aerobic class.  We hit it off immediately, I always looked forward to seeing her.  Our paths crossed again at a meeting I attended at the Caregiver Support Group held at St John Vianney Church.  I will always remember her gentle smile and compassionate concern for everyone.  My deepest sympathy to her family especially her sons and grandchildren whom she loved so very much.

So sorry to hear about Susie's passing.  She was always such a delightful and upbeat person.  She always had a smile and something nice to say.  My condolences to the family.

I first met Susanne when we worked at Illini Convenient Care,  we lost touch and then met up again as Parish Nurses. 
    She was a ray of sunshine, always a smile on her face, never a negative word, always willing to help. Our lost here on earth is heavens gain. I consider myself  lucky to have known her.  She is at peace .

   When we remember Susanne, we will think of Monday evening dance classes, New Year’s Eve dinner dances, and her smile you would see whether at the grocery store, working at Alcoa, or on a neighborhood walk.  She always had time for a wave and a “How are you doing?”
   Susanne’s love for her family and grandkids was truly a special thing.
   We hope Susanne and Rick are dancing to their favorite song in heaven.

My sympathies and prayers to Susanne's family.  I will miss Susanne's smiling face at our Parish Nurse meetings. She enjoyed visiting people at Clarissa Cook home and meeting with our Parish Nurse team.  She was proud of her family and I  heard she was a wonderful Grandmother. Susanne was a volunteer room mother. She baked wonderful treats and had fun activities for my first graders. In recent years, we  had lunch together after both our husbands passed.

I met Mrs. Nelson as a boy (her son, Brian, is one of my best friends) so I’ve always known her by that title. I have the fondest memories of her compassion, laughter, and generosity. My dad died when I was 11.  Just days afterward, Mrs. Nelson and Brian were on our doorstep, holding the cookies she had just baked for me. It’s been almost 30 years since that day and I still remember the way her kindness touched me. She was always serving others. I am truly grateful to have had such a beautiful person be part of my childhood.

I am shocked and saddened by the loss of Susanne.  She was one of my students in the Parish Nurse  class several years ago.  She  had a servant heart and loved her work visiting with the patients and families in hospice care. May she rest in peace.

Susanne has been a friend of ours for many years.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing her culinary achievements with others.  We learned to ballroom dance several years ago and saw a few New Years come in.  Our children played together in our neighborhood and we fed them milk and cookies often as we let each other know where they were.  We shared working together on many volunteer projects while the children were in school.  We will miss her friendship and her one of a kind laugh and her giving and loving nature.  We hope she is happy in heaven reunited with her daughter and husband.

Susanne also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter in infancy, Jennifer Ann, her brother, Kenneth Ball, a brother-in-law, Clark Nelson, and her godmother and aunt, Lorraine Dakovic of Wheeling, West Virginia.
