Suzanne E. (Krause) Bieber, 85, of Des Moines, IA, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, IA, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Suzanne was born on October 3, 1939 in Davenport, IA to George and Kathryn Krause. She graduated from Davenport High in 1957. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1959 as an LPN. Suzanne was employed by the state of Iowa and retired after 22 years of employment. Her passions include spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover, and cared very much for the animals in her life. Over the years, Suzanne collected stuffed bears.
She is survived by her children, Kim (Matt) Adams and Mark Bieber; grandchildren, Ashley, Nicole (Shane), Tiffany (Daniel), Lynette and Paul (Leisha); great-grandchildren, Dominick, Leah, Hayden, and Rowan; and beloved dog, Mia.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, one uncle, Shad Smith.
