Timothy Edward Fogarty

Timothy "Tim" E. Fogarty, 57, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Genesis East Medical Center. Per his request cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities, 2930 W. Locust Street Davenport, IA 52804; there will be a short service starting at 12pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities in Davenport. Following his passing; Tim made the selfless decision to be an organ donor through Iowa Donor Network.

Tim was born on September 12, 1966 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Patricia Fogarty. He graduated from Ankeny High School in 1985; where he played football. Tim was united in marriage to Patricia Sexton on October 31, 1991; from this union they had two daughters, Allyvia and Helen. He worked as a factory worker at Nestle Purina until health complications forced him into early retirement. In his free time he enjoyed training in Jiu-Jitsu at Nick Tarpeins Martial Arts. He also enjoyed playing video games, particularly BLACK and Mario Kart; and spending time with his family.

Those left to honor his memory are his two daughters Allyvia Fogarty (Jared Smith) and Helen Fogarty; brothers Dan (Sheri) Fogarty, Mike Webb, and David (Mary Ann) Webb; his mother Patricia Walsh; many nieces and nephews; and his cats Boo and Tasha.

He was preceded in death by his father John Fogarty; brother Steve Webb; grandmother Helen Quick; and two cats Snowflake and William.
