Verna was born a daughter of Leonard and Gisela Dittman on December 25, 1951 in LeMars, IA. On April 15, 1972 she united in marriage to Ron Horsley in Grandville, IA.
She was a humorous woman who loved spending time with her family and collecting owls. As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will truly be missed.
Those left to cherish Verna’s memory include her loving husband, Ron, and two daughters, Christie Horsfield (Russ) and Rachel Horsley (Eric), along with her grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla, Hanna and Sara, and great grandchild Henry, as well as her two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
