

William D. Clark, 78, of rural Blue Grass, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11:00 am until the service at the mortuary. William was born October 7, 1932 in Davenport, the son of Earl and Esther (Trendle) Clark. He was united in marriage to Lottie Tucker on September 12, 1953 in Rock Island, IL.
In his earlier years, Bill owned Clark’s One Way Tap and a service station on Rockingham Road. He later was employed as a machinist and also a truck driver for W.G. Block Company. He enjoyed gardening and working on cars.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Lottie, Blue Grass, sons: Roger (Vickie) Clark; Muscatine, David (Judy) Clark, Buffalo, IA; Kevin (Cindy) Clark, Blue Grass; daughters: Deborah (Rick) Miller, Montgomery, TX and Christine (Jeff) Ragan, Blue Grass; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a brother, John Clark, Eldridge, IA. His parents and many brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
